Titan Sports Hall of Fame
LaRoyal Wilson was a seven-time varsity letterwinner at Westminster, earning four letters in track and three in football. A three-time track team MVP, he broke three WPC track records in one day. He also earned the Most Promising Freshman award. Wilson was named to Whos Who in American Colleges and Universities and was also active with Campus Christian Forum, Varsity W Club, President of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Mock Convention and Black Student Forum. A native of Mount Pleasant, and a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, he continues to reside in Mount Pleasant where he is a teacher in the Hempfield Area School District. He is also very active in the community as a member of the Westmoreland Health System Foundation, a Mount Pleasant Recreation board member, a PIAA track & field official, and as chairman of the Deacon Board at 2nd Baptist Church. He and his wife, the former Bonnie Tomlinson 68, have two grown daughters: Marcella Wilson Biller and Patricia Wilson Hall.
