A four-year letterman, Trunk was a four-time Team MVP and the Team Captain as a senior.
Trunk was a five-time NCAA D-III All-American, and a three-time Honorable Mention All-American.
A four-time All-PAC First Team selection, Trunk was named the PAC Swimmer of the Year as a freshman. He set three individual and four relay event school records and multiple PAC records. A four-time Westminster Exceptional Sports Performance of the Year (WESPY) award winner, he earned the David B. Fawcett Outstanding Senior Male Student-Athlete Award.
Trunk, a CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team honoree as a senior, was a two-time College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Academic All-American and was recognized on the PAC Academic Honor Roll.
During Trunk's career, the men's team recorded a 33-7-1 mark in dual meets and was a three-time PAC Champion.
A native of Brookline, MA, Trunk attended Brookline High School. He majored in sociology/criminal justice and minored in peace studies. At Westminster, Trunk was a member of Lambda Sigma Honor Society and of Student Government Association where he served as Vice President.
Trunk currently resides in Alexandria, VA where he is a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
