As a senior for the Westminster men's basketball team in 2000-01, Chad Phillips ranked fifth in NCAA Division II in scoring with 24.3 points per game. A 6-foot-5 guard/small forward, Phillips was also the team's leading rebounder with 8.8 boards per game on a team that posted a 19-6 record under head coach Jim Dafler.

Phillips, who also played for head coach Ron Galbreath during his career, finished his career with 1,167 career points, which currently ranks 25th all-time at Westminster. He was named team MVP as a junior while averaging 16.5 points per game.

One of only 25 Academic All-Americans in Westminster sports history, Phillips graduated cum laude with a degree in economics in 2001. A graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Phillips resides in his hometown of Warren, Ohio, where he is an account executive for E.J. Rossi & Company. He and his wife, Jillian, have a son, Henry, and a daughter, Annie.
