Titan Sports Hall of Fame
Heidi Jorgensen Begeot was the first-ever volleyball All-American at Westminster, earning NAIA honors as a senior in 1994 after leading the Lady Titan spikers to a 36-7 record and the teams first-ever appearance in the NAIA national championships. She also was named Player of the Year and an all-league first-team selection in the Keystone-Empire Collegiate Conference (KECC) that season. She earned All-KECC First-Team honors in both 1992 and 1993 and garnered second-team laurels and was named District Freshman of the Year in 1991. Jorgensen Begeot concluded her career as the programs all-time leader in both kills (1,325) and assists (2,296), and currently ranks second and fourth, respectively, all-time at Westminster in those categories. A native of Volant and local product of Wilmington High School, Jorgensen Begeot is currently the director of social services at Hood River Care Center and resides in Mosier, Ore., with her husband, Ronald.
