The fifth all-time leading scorer and rebounder in Titan basketball history with 1,581 points and 679 boards, Klinar holds school records for career field goals (655) and field-goal percentage in a season with 65.2 percent (167-256) in 2000-01. An all-GLIAC performer, Klinar played under head coaches Ron Galbreath and Jim Dafler during his career.

On the baseball diamond, Klinar was a team MVP, an ECAC Division II All-Region selection, and a two-year captain for head coaches Scott Renninger, Sean Kelly and Carmen Nocera. Klinar led the Titans in earned-run average in 1999 and 2000 while also getting it done at the plate with team-best totals in RBI in 1999 and 2001. As a senior, Klinar batted .337 and led the team with seven home runs and 32 RBI.

A GLIAC All-Academic selection, Klinar graduated from Westminster in 2001 with a degree in business administration. A native of Venetia, Pa., and a Peters Township High School graduate, Klinar currently resides in Canonsburg where he is the general manager of McKean Plumbing and Heating. He and his wife Summerlea, also a 2001 Westminster graduate, have two children, Amelia and Henry.
