Titan Sports Hall of Fame
A four-year let¬terman and three-year starter, David Deal was a lineback¬er for the Titans from 1983-86. Deal led the defense in tackles during his junior year, and was captain his senior season. Deal earned NAIA D-18 second-team honors three times (1983-85), and was also tabbed NAIA Academic All-American three straight years (1983-85).
During Deal's four years, the Titans were NAIA Division II semifinalists twice under head coach and Titan Hall of Famer Joe Fusco. A New Castle, Pa., native, Deal was a double major in history and business and graduated from Westminster in 1985 with a 3.784 grade point average.
