Titan Sports Hall of Fame
A four-year letterman in both cross country and track & field for the Titans, Gleason was a David B. Fawcett Award recipient, an honor bestowed upon the top male senior student-athlete who best exemplifies the qualities of fairness, sportsmanship, leadership, determination and competitiveness.
A two-time team MVP and two-time team captain in cross country, Gleason was the top finisher for the Titans in the GLIAC Cross Country Championship as a freshman and sophomore.
Gleason earned PAC Coaches honors in cross country as a junior and senior as he placed first in the PAC Championships in both seasons. He placed 10th (2001) and 23rd (2000) in the NCAA D-II Regional Cross Country Championship Meet as a senior and junior. Gleason was a multiple ECAC cross country Runner of the Week honoree as a senior. For track & field, Gleason was a two-time Team MVP and team captain. He also earned PAC Coaches honors as a senior.
A Uniontown H.S. graduate, Gleason was a biology major at Westminster. He currently resides in Zanesville, OH, where he is the head coach of the men's and women's cross country and track & field teams at Muskingum University. He and his wife, former Titan runner Holly (Daugherty) Gleason ‘02, have three children: Elijah, Anna, and Elliott.
