An All-American and 10-time Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) champion, Jim Mann was co-captain of the 2002-03 men's swimming & diving team. A four-year letterman, Mann competed at Westminster from 2000- 2003 for head coach Rob Klamut.

Mann earned NCAA D-II All-American honors in the 100 backstroke as a sophomore, CSCAA D-II All-American honors in the same event as a freshman, and qualified for the NCAA D-II Championship meet as a junior and the NCAA D-III Championship meet as a senior.

Mann was the first swimmer in Westminster swimming history to qualify for the U.S. Open as a freshman and sophomore, while making the finals in his first year.

He was also the GLIAC champion in the 100 and 200 backstroke on the GLIAC championship team as a freshman.

During his team MVP year as a sophomore, Mann was crowned Grove City College Invitational (GCCI) champion in the 50 freestyle, 100 and 200 backstroke, and 200 and 400 medley relay. Mann followed with GCCI championships in the 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle relay as a junior.

Mann finished his career strong with PAC championships in six events. He placed first in the 100 and 200 backstroke, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle relay, 200 and 400 medley relay which earned him Invitational and PAC Swimmer of the Year.

During his career at Westminster, Mann broke three school and two PAC records. Mann still has the fastest 100 backstroke time in school history at 51.20 seconds. He was named the David B. Fawcett Award winner as the Outstanding Senior Male Student-Athlete in 2003.

A native of Indiana, Pa. and a graduate of The Kiski School, Mann earned his degree from Westminster in business administration in 2003. He and his wife, Tawnya Brown Mann (former Titan swimmer) have two children, Braden and Cameron. Mann is currently employed at Northwest U.S. District Manager for Smith Bits.
