Titan Sports Hall of Fame
Colleen Dion Shanafelt is the all-time leading rebounder in Lady Titan basketball history, and is the only player ever at Westminster to finish her career with over 1,000 points (1,185, 2nd all-time) and 1,000 rebounds (1,084). She was a four-time all-district/conference selection, earning first team honors as a senior after being named to the second team as a sophomore and junior and honorable mention as a freshman. Dion Shanafelt was also a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete (1994-95, 95-96). She was also active in college with Sigma Kappa sorority, as a Rush Counselor, and with Panhellenic Council and Beta Beta Beta before graduating Cum Laude having made the Deans List seven times. A native of Girard, and graduate of Girard High School, she currently resides in Hollidaysburg, where she works as a physical therapist and volunteers at a church nursery. She and her husband, Michael '98, have one son, Ethan, and are expecting their second child at the end of the year.
