Bryan Hoenig was a captain of Westminster's 1994 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national championship team. A First Team All-Conference defensive tackle on the 1994 squad, Hoenig also received Honorable Mention All-America honors as a senior. A three-year letterman, Hoenig twice was named a preseason All-American by the National Weekly Football Gazette, and earned Titan of the Week honors on three occasions. Hoenig ranks 18th in team history with 348 total tackles, including 120 stops as a senior. During his career he also posted 22 quarterback sacks, 11 pass break-ups, five fumble recoveries and an interception in the 1994 national championship game. During Hoenig's four years on the team under head coach and fellow Hall of Famer Gene Nicholson, the Titans compiled a record of 39-9, including a 12-2 mark his senior year. A native of Beaver Falls, Pa., Hoenig is a graduate of Blackhawk High School and a 1995 Westminster graduate. He resides in Encinitas, Calif. with his wife Grace and children Aubrey and Jake
