Men's Soccer: Titans' Win Streak Snapped at CWRU

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Westminster College men's soccer team saw its six-game winning streak snapped at Case Western Reserve Friday night as the Titans lost 1-0 in a non-conference match.

Westminster falls to 12-5 on the season while the Spartans improve to 10-4-1 and ward off their season-long, three-match winless streak.

Case's Kevin Bigart scored the game-winning goal at 64:56 on an assist from Brian Evans.

The Spartans held a 16-8 shot advantage and Westminster sophomore goalkeeper Mike Codita (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) made eight saves. Case's Ben Yabrow made three saves for the shutout.

Westminster returns to action Saturday when it hosts Waynesburg at 4 p.m.
