Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Titans fall at Juniata

HUNTINGDON, Pa.-The Westminster College men's soccer program was dealt a 5-0 loss to open the season Friday night at Juniata. 

Juniata's Jayden Gaynor scored his first of two goals two minutes into the match. Gavin Rauhut gave the Golden Eagles a 2-0 lead with a goal in the 26th minute. Juniata carried a 2-0 lead into halftime. Gaynor registered his second goal of the match 30 seconds into the second half. The score came off a Rauhut assist. Jase Colino netted back-to-back goals in the 59th minute and 64th minute. Gaynor assisted Colino's second score.

Juniata finished with a 24-4 margin in shots and had a 14-0 advantage in shots on goal. The Golden Eagles attempted 10 corner kicks to the Titans' four. 

Junior Aaron Snyder (Hatboro, Pa., Upper Moreland) made a career-high nine saves for Westminster. 

Next:
Westminster opens its home schedule Saturday against Pitt-Greensburg. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start at the UPMC Sports Complex.
