Westminster suffers 2-1 loss at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio--The Westminster College men's soccer team fell at the College of Wooster by a 2-1 score Thursday evening. 

Westminster's record fell to 0-2-1. Wooster improved to 3-0.

Wooster took a 1-0 lead 38 minutes in off a goal from Taylor Uszacki. Robert Hillhouse assisted on the Uszacki score. Freshman forward Jackson Friday (Bethel Park, Pa., Bethel Park) found fifth-year forward Dylan Weiss (South Park, Pa., South Park) just over a minute later, who struck for his second goal of the year. 

Wooster's Connor Shea scored the eventual game-winner in the 52nd minute. 

Junior Aaron Snyder (Hatboro, Pa., Upper Moreland) made eight saves for Westminster. 

Westminster was outshot 27-8 while Wooster finished with a 10-4 advantage in shots on goal. Wooster took 10 corner kicks to Westminster's three.

Westminster hosts John Carroll Saturday. The game from the UPMC Sports Complex is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. The Blue Streaks earned a 1-0 win over Bethany Thursday night in University Heights, Ohio.
