NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster indoor track and field senior Megan Parker (Mercer, PA / Mercer Area) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
 
Parker established new school records in both the shot put and the weight throw Saturday at Kent State's Jud Logan Memorial Tune-Up. She finished sixth in both events. Parker recorded a throw of 13.93 meters (45-08.50) in the shot put and a mark of 16.18 meters (53-01) in the
weight throw. Both efforts top the league's respective performance lists. Her effort in the shot put ranks seventh in Division III while her mark in the weight throw is tied for the 28th-best mark nationally.
 
The Titans are back in action Thursday, February 24 as they compete in the PAC Indoor Championship. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
