GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Westminster men's swimming and diving team competed in the opening day of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship, hosted by Grove City, Thursday night.
Westminster currently leads the six-team field with a score of 312.
"I am very happy with how the men performed," said head coach
Pat Smith. "We set a goal to take it one session at a time. To have the lead is great and we know it's not going to be easy to hold the lead over the next two days. We feel like we executed very well today."

Patrick Holton (Livonia, MI / Winston Churchill) won the three-meter dive with the score of 521.05. First-year
Samuel Duda (Tulsa, OK / Bishop Kelley) placed runner-up in the 500 free with a time of 4:50.28. Sophomore
Paul Kallaur (Bethel Park, PA / Home Schooled) finished third in the 200 IM, clocking in at 2:00.98. Senior
Jacob Musselman (Denver, PA / Cocalico) came in third in the 50 free at 21.38. In the 200 freestyle relay, Musselman and Kallaur teamed with senior
Kevin MacMurdo (Pittsburgh, PA / Carlynton) and first-year
Connor Fritz (Canfield, OH / Canfield) to earn a second-place finish with a time of 1:25.82 In the 400 medley relay, the team of Musselman, Kallaur, Fritz, and Duda placed runner-up at 3:27.44.
The Titans return to action Friday, February 18 as they compete in the second day of the PAC Championship. Start time is set for 11 a.m.
