Piraino, Katigbak named First Team All-PAC

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster graduate student Gino Piraino (Export, Pa., Franklin Regional) and sophomore Jack Katigbak (North Canton, Ohio, Lake Center Christian) were named 2025-26 First Team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Swimming and Diving selections Friday afternoon.

Westminster finished in fifth place at the PAC Championships with 235 points.

The all-conference teams are determined by a formula-based selection process using student-athletes' individual and relay finishes at the league's annual championships.

It is Piraino's first All-PAC selection and the second straight First Team All-PAC award for Katigbak.

Piraino registered a runner-up finish on the 1-meter board, scoring 337.83 points in the 11-dive competition.

Katigbak was the runner-up in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:55.37. He finished fourth in the 100 backstroke (52.66) and eighth in the 50 freestyle (22.01). Katigbak anchored the fourth-place 200 freestyle relay (1:30.42), swam breaststroke on the fourth-place 200 medley relay (1:39.94) and led off the fifth-place 400 freestyle relay (3:18.55) and fifth-place 800 freestyle relay (7:23.53).
