Titans sixth after second day of PAC Championships

GROVE CITY, Pa.--Westminster sophomore Jack Katigbak (North Canton, Ohio, Lake Center Christian) finished eighth in the 50 freestyle at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday night.

Katigbak was eighth in the championship final with a time of 22.01.

Freshman Ethan Bishop (Meadow, Utah, Millard) placed 10th in 500 freestyle, finishing second in the 'B' final with a time of 4:55.53, shaving nearly 19 seconds off his initial season-best time. He qualified 12th after registering a time of 5:00.19 in Thursday morning's preliminaries.

Junior Hayne Webster (Wellsboro, Pa., Wellsboro) was 13th in the 200 IM (2:08.90) and freshman Joseph Galbraith (Waterford, Pa., Fort Le Boeuf) was 14th (22.65) in the 50 freestyle.

Through eight events, Westminster is currently in sixth place with 83 points. Host Grove City leads the seven-team field with 364 points. Washington & Jefferson is in second place with 267.

Up next:
Seven events will be decided during Friday evening's finals, which are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Preliminaries will get underway at 10 a.m.
