YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Members of the Westminster men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed in day one of the two-day Youngstown State University Mid-Major Invitational on Friday.
 
Senior thrower Megan Parker (Mercer, PA / Mercer Area) highlighted the day for the Titans as she broke her own school-record in the weight throw for the second-straight week with a toss of 48'10" (14.90m.) for sixth-place.
 
Junior Emma Rudolph Vaults (Santa Clarita, CA / Golden Valley) earned a third-place tie in the pole vault with a mark of 11'6½" (3.52m.).
 
For the men, junior Deondre McKeever (Youngstown, OH / Austintown-Fitch) improved is personal-best mark in the long jump with a leap of 21'2½" (6.46m.).
 
The Titans will close out the final day of the YSU Mid-Major Invite tomorrow. The first event is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m.
