YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Two Westminster school records were broken at the Youngstown State Collegiate Invitational on Friday as members of both the men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed.
Records Broken
Senior
Megan Parker (Mercer, PA / Mercer Area) broke her own school record in the weight throw with a toss of 48' 7.25" (14.81m) for an 11th-place finish. Her mark stands 33rd among Division III counterparts.
First-year
Lexi Shiderly (New Castle, PA / Mohawk) broke the school record in the shot put with a toss of 40' 10.25" (12.45m) for ninth-place. Parker also set a personal record in the shot put with a mark of 40' 8.25" (12.40m), finishing 10th. Shiderly and Parker currently rank 26th and 29th, respectively in Division III.

Junior
Emma Rudolph (Santa Clarita, CA / Golden Valley) placed second in the pole vault with a mark of 11' 11¾" (3.65m).
Sophomore
Joseph Kurelowech (Erie, PA / McDowell) set a personal best in the pole vault as he placed first in the unseeded group with a vault of 14' 1.75" (4.31m). That mark currently is No. 1 in the PAC.
Junior
Ryan Beard (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) clocked in at 23.19 in the 200 (31st).
Junior Deondre McKeever (Youngstown, OH / Austintown-Fitch) placed 16th in the long jump (21' 0.5"/6.41m).
