NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's golf sophomore Sierra Richard (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) as its Titan Athlete of the Week. 

Richard, who also was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week, finished fifth out of 59 at last weekend's Cortaca Northeast Invitational as she shot a 13-over 157, firing a 78 Saturday and a 79 on Sunday. The 36-hole score was a personal best for Richard and stands as the second-lowest two-round score in program history. Westminster finished third with a team score of 652 (327-325), the lowest 36-hole score in program history. 
  
Westminster is back on the course on Saturday, October 2 as it hosts the Westminster Invitational at the Avalon Field Club at New Castle.
