YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Select members of the Westminster indoor track and field teams competed in the Youngstown State Holiday Classic on Friday.
Senior
Jacob Patton (Harrisville, PA / Moniteau) highlighted the day with a personal-best time of 8.63 for fifth-place in the 60-meter hurdles, only .04 seconds away from tying a school record. Junior
Hunter Linhart (Pittsburgh, PA / Plum) also registered a personal-best in the shot put with a toss of 42'4.25 (12.91m) for 18
th-place.
For the women, senior
Erynn Daubenmire (Mentor, OH / Willoughby South) earned a personal-best throw in the weight throw with a toss of 36'11" (11.25m), finishing 18
th.
The Titans are next scheduled to compete on Friday, Jan. 21 at the YSU's Collegiate Invitational.
