Yost named Academic All-District®

GREENWOOD, Ind.--Westminster rising junior Reed Yost (Wattsburg, Pa., Seneca) was recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) with Academic All-District® honors Tuesday afternoon. 

This is Yost's first time earning Academic All-District® honors.

Yost maintains a 3.84 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) while pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting. He has been named to the College's Dean's List four times and earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll recognition twice. Yost recorded the second-best pole vault mark in the Mid-Atlantic Region during the indoor season, clearing 4.75 meters (15-7) to win the individual title at the PAC Indoor Championships. He earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors on March 16.

Westminster finished third at the PAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 26, finishing with four individual champions and totaling 87 points at the 16-event championship. May 1 at the PAC Outdoor Championships, Westminster posted a third-place finish, racking up 108 points during the two-day, 20-event championship while finishing with three individual champions.
