NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected first-year Morgan Gossard (Johnstown, PA / Richland) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Gossard tied for second place in the pole vault on Friday, ahead of multiple Division I vaulters, at West Virginia's Marty Pushkin Track Classic. She cleared 11 feet, 3.75 inches (3.45m). Gossard currently ranks seventh nationally among Division III counterparts (11' 10.5"/3.62m).
 
Westminster will next compete in the SPIRE Invitational in Geneva, Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 19.
