Conley earns All-America honors

Ties for fifth in pole vault

GENEVA, Ohio--Westminster College graduate student Madison Conley (New Castle, Pa., New Castle) earned the third All-America citation of her career Thursday after tying for fifth place in the pole vault at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. 

The Division III Championships are being held Thursday through Saturday at the SPIRE Institute. 

A four-time national qualifier, Conley was seventh at both the indoor and outdoor national championships in 2024. 

Conley cleared 3.85 meters (12-07.50) Thursday. Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) Katelyn Howard and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Maddy Habberstad were the other competitors to clear 3.85 meters on their first attempts at the height. 

Conley entered the outdoor championships tied for the 15th-best mark this season, clearing a personal-best 3.87 meters (12-08.25) at the Walsh University Invitational on April 23, which was held inside the University of Mount Union's Kehres Stadium in Alliance, Ohio.

Graduate student Breannda Davis (Streetsboro, Ohio, Streetsboro) will compete in the high jump Friday. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
