Davis earns All-America at Division III Championships

GENEVA, Ohio--Westminster College graduate student Breannda Davis (Streetsboro, Ohio, Streetsboro) earned the first All-America citation of her career Friday after a seventh-place finish in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The Division III Championships are being held Thursday through Saturday at the SPIRE Institute.

A four-time national qualifier, Davis tied her season-best mark by clearing 1.68 meters (5-06) on her third attempt at the height Friday.

Davis also cleared 1.68 meters (5-06) at the University of Mount Union's Last Chance on May 15. She was one of eight qualifiers to clear 1.68 meters, the 11th-best mark this year.
