NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected senior Mitch Stahara (Bethel Park, PA / Bethel Park) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Stahara posted individual wins in the 100 free (47.00) and 200 free (1:43.61) and swam the anchor leg of the winning 200 free relay, which broke the Westminster Natatorium record with a time of one minute, 26.72 seconds, in Westminster's PAC dual meet win over league rival Grove City last Wednesday. In Saturday's non-conference victory over Mount Union, he won the 100 free (47.50) and swam the anchor leg of the winning 400 free relay (3:16.42) and the freestyle portion of the winning 200 medley relay (1:37.71).
 
The next swimming & diving meet is Wednesday, February 14 at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships in Grove City, Pa. The Championships run from February 14-17. Start time for each day is at 10 a.m.
