NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected junior
Mitch Stahara (Bethel Park, Pa. / Bethel Park) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.

Stahara swam to a pair of first-place individual finishes at the Wooster Invitational. He posted a winning and school-record time of one minute, 40.04 seconds in the 200 free, which also surpassed the NCAA provisional qualifying standard in the event. He also won the 100 free (46.16) and was runner-up in the 500 free (4:40.99). Stahara also swam on the winning 200 free (1:23.88) and 400 medley (3:28.17) relays. His time in both the 200 and 500 are tops in the league this season. Stahara was also named the PAC Men's Swimmer/Diver of the Week.
Westminster is back in the pool on Saturday, January 7 when it competes in a double dual meet against Rollins College and Gordon College in Winter Park, Fla. at 1 p.m.
