MONACA, Pa. - The Westminster College women's basketball team lost 71-66 at Penn State-Beaver Monday night in a non-conference game.
The Titans fall to 6-9 after winning consecutive games for the first time this season. Penn State-Beaver improves to 14-3 on the year.
The Dolsak sisters led the Titans in scoring as sophomore forward Emily Dolsak (McDonald, Ohio/McDonald) scored 14 points, while senior guard Amy Dolsak (McDonald, Ohio/McDonald) sank 13 to go with a team high-tying six rebounds.
Jasmine Green paced the Lions with 13 points, followed by Heather Sandusky and Shelby Parks with 10 apiece.
Westminster led 61-56 with 4:48 remaining, before the Lions ended the game on a 15-5 run. Beaver's five-point final margin was its largest second-half lead. The Lions led by as many as nine points in the first half before leading 37-36 at halftime.
The Titans committed 26 turnovers to Beaver's 14.
Westminster returns to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play Wednesday night at Grove City for a 6 o'clock tip-off.
