Stallings, Mull qualify for 110 hurdles final at PAC Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.--Freshman Deonte Stallings (Youngstown, Ohio, Austintown-Fitch) and senior Jake Mull (Apollo, Pa., Apollo-Ridge) finished 1-2 in the preliminaries of the 110-meter hurdles at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships Thursday. 

The two-day event is once again being held at the Track & Field Complex at Mylan Park. Through five scored events, Westminster is in sixth place with five points. 

Stallings posted the top time in the preliminaries of the 110 hurdles, finishing with a time of 15.18 seconds. Mull was second with a time of 15.41. The finals are scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Friday. 

Freshman Ta'Rel Richardson-Heasley (Grove City, Pa., Grove City) was fifth in the triple jump with a top mark of 12.90 meters (42-04) while senior Jalen Ritzert (Greenville, Pa., Greenville) was eighth in the javelin with a season-best throw of 46.63 meters (153-00).

Up next:
Westminster will wrap up the PAC Championships Friday at West Virginia's Track and Field Complex at Mylan Park. Twenty-eight event finals are scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m.
