Bishop, Katigbak swim to individual wins at Saint Vincent

LATROBE, Pa.--Freshman Ethan Bishop (Meadow, Utah, Millard) and sophomore Jack Katigbak (North Canton, Ohio, Lake Center Christian) each won an individual event during Westminster's 190-58 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) dual meet loss to Saint Vincent Saturday afternoon inside the Frank and Elizabeth Resnik Pool.

Bishop won the 200 freestyle (1:54.03) and finished second in the 500 freestyle (5:16.16) while Katigbak won the 50 freestyle (22.89) and finished second in the 100 backstroke (55.04) and 200 backstroke (2:04.92).

Freshman Joseph Galbraith (Waterford, Pa., Fort Le Boeuf) was second in the 100 freestyle (52.17) and third in the 200 freestyle (1:55.29). Junior Hayne Webster (Wellsboro, Pa., Wellsboro) finished third in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.76). Graduate student Gino Piraino (Export, Pa., Franklin Regional) was the lone competitor in the 1-meter diving, totaling 132.12 points.

Westminster will travel to Grove City Thursday. The final dual meet of the year is scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m.
