Conley, Iwig earn PAC weekly honors

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster College graduate student Madison Conley (New Castle, Pa., New Castle) and freshman Grace Iwig (Greensburg, Pa., Hempfield) earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Indoor Track and Field weekly honors Tuesday afternoon. 
 
Conley was named PAC Field Athlete of the Week for the second time in her career (Dec. 5, 2023). She cleared a personal-best 3.82 meters (12-06.25) last Friday at the University of Mount Union Raider Tune-Up inside the Peterson Field House. The performance is currently tied for 10th in Division III. Last May, Conley was recognized as an All-American with a seventh-place finish at the Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships after clearing a previous career-best 3.81 meters (12-06) on her first attempt at the height. She also qualified for last year's indoor championships and earned All-American honors with a seventh-place finish, clearing 3.77m (12-04.50).

Iwig was named PAC Newcomer of the Week for the second time this season (Jan. 28). She turned in another terrific performance at Mount Union, clearing a career-best 3.72 meters (12-02.50). It's the 18th-best jump in Division III this year. Iwig cleared a previous career-best 3.62 meters (11-10.50) Feb. 14 at Youngstown State's Last Chance.

Up Next:
Westminster will look to secure its second-straight Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) indoor title Thursday. Events are scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m. inside Youngstown State's Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).
