Yost named PAC Newcomer of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster College freshman Reed Yost (Wattsburg, Pa., Seneca) was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Indoor Track and Field Newcomer of the Week Tuesday afternoon.

Yost has been named the league's newcomer of the week three times this season (Dec. 10, Jan. 28). He tied for fifth place in the pole vault last Friday at Ashland University's Jud Logan Light Giver Open, clearing a personal-best 4.45 meters (14-07.25). It is the top mark in the PAC this season and ranks No. 3 in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Westminster will return to action on Friday, Feb. 14 at Youngstown State University's Last Chance. Events are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. inside the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).
