Beard races to pair of top-five finishes WVU's Last Chance

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.--Westminster College graduate Student Ryan Beard (Murrysville, Pa., Franklin Regional) registered a pair of top-five finishes Saturday afternoon at West Virginia University's Last Chance event, which was held at the Track and Field Complex at Mylan Park.

Beard scored a third-place finish in the 200 meters with a season-best time of 22.04 seconds. He also finished fifth in the 100 meters with a time of 11.06.

Select members of the track and field programs are scheduled to compete at Allegheny College's Marty Goldberg Gator Invitational on Wednesday in Meadville.
