Titans compete at All-Atlantic Championships

CORTLAND, Ohio--Qualifying members of Westminster College's men's outdoor track and field program compete at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships Wednesday and Thursday. 

The State University of New York at Cortland hosted the two-day, 22-event championship at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex. 

Rowan University won the team title with 115.50 points. 

Freshman Kyle Crown (Lake Milton, Ohio, McDonald) registered a 19th-place finish in the shot put with a top throw of 14.12 meters (46-04). 

The 4x800-meter relay finished 19th with a time of 8 minutes, 22.46 seconds. Relay members included senior Ryan Armstrong (Pocono Summit, Pa., Pocono Mountain West), freshman Dalton Koehler (Chardon, Ohio, Fairport Harding), junior Dane Fasick (New Brighton, Pa., New Brighton) and freshman Dennis Jones (West Middlesex, Pa., West Middlesex).

Senior Anthony Kamenski (Chicora, Pa., Karns City), freshmen Matthew Essey (Aliquippa, Pa. , Hopewell) and Jake Mull (Apollo, Pa., Apollo-Ridge) and graduate student Ryan Beard (Murrysville, Pa., Franklin Regional) finished 25th in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 43.45.
