Kamenski second in two events at Slippery Rock

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.-- Westminster College senior Anthony Kamenski (Chicora, Pa., Karns City) registered runner-up finishes in both hurdle events Saturday at the Slippery Rock University Invitational.

Kamenski was second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.07 seconds and second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.54.

Graduate student Ryan Beard (Murrysville, Pa., Franklin Regional) finished fourth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.99. Freshman Jake Mull (Apollo, Pa., Apollo-Ridge) was eighth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.03.

The Westminster's 4x100-meter "A" relay was the runner-up with a time of 43.16. Members of the relay included Kamenski, freshman Matthew Essey (Aliquippa, Pa., Hopewell), sophomore Benjamin White (Warren, Pa., Warren) and Beard.

Westminster will host its annual spring invitational next weekend. Friday, the hammer will be contested at Slippery Rock, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The remaining events will be held Saturday in New Wilmington, starting at 10 a.m.
