Hawkins earns PAC weekly honors

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster College freshman defensive midfielder Jahiem Hawkins (Huntington Station, N.Y., Huntington) earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) weekly honors Monday night.

Hawkins was recognized as this week's PAC Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week.

Hawkins finished with a career-high four ground balls and equaled his season high with three caused turnovers in helping the Titans post a 19-6 win at Bethany College. In addition to the four ground balls and three caused turnovers, Hawkins also had an assist, as Westminster's 13-goal win matched its largest of the season.

Westminster (8-6, 4-2) will host Chatham University (6-8, 3-2) Tuesday. The opening faceoff at the UPMC Sports Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.
