Robinson named PAC Newcomer of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster freshman Brendan Robinson (Gainesville, Va., Gainesville) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Lacrosse Newcomer of the Week Monday afternoon.

This is the second PAC honor for Robinson this season (March 16).

Robinson finished with five goals, six assists, four ground balls and one caused turnover during Westminster's 2-0 week. In Wednesday's 27-0 win at Thiel, he finished with three goals, a career-high five assists and picked up three ground balls. In Saturday's 20-3 Senior Recognition Day win against W&J, Robinson finished with a pair of goals, one assist, one ground ball and one caused turnover.

Robinson has recorded 13 multi-point games this season. His 37 goals are tied for second-most in the PAC while his 55 points are fifth-most in the league.

Westminster will wrap up its regular season schedule Wednesday at Allegheny (6-8, 4-4 PAC). The opening faceoff from Frank B. Fuhrer Field is set for 7 p.m.
