Rudolph runner-up at Mount Union

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College indoor track and field teams competed in a pair of unscored events Saturday. 

Limited members traveled to the Stile Field House in Akron, Ohio to participate in the University of Akron Invitational and to the Peterson Field House in Alliance, Ohio to participate in the University of Mount Union's Jim Wuske Invitational. 

At Mount Union junior Emma Rudolph (Santa Clarita, Calif. | Golden Valley) posted a runner-up finish in the pole vault with a jump of 3.51 meters (11-06.25). Classmate Madison Conley (New Castle, Pa. | New Castle) was eighth (3.31m, 10-10.25) in the event. 

At Akron junior Jessica Fatigati (McDonald, Pa. | West Allegheny) finished 17th in the 200 meters (27.04) and 20th in the 400 meters (1:02.71) and posted the ninth-best time in the preliminaries of the 60 meters (8.053). Fatigati's time in the 60 stands as the second-fastest time in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) this winter. 

Westminster is scheduled to compete at the SPIRE Indoor Games Friday-Saturday, February 10-11 in Geneva, Ohio.
