MEADVILLE, Pa. – Select members of the Westminster outdoor track and field teams competed in Allegheny's Marty Goldberg Gator Invite on Thursday.
Highlighting the day for the Titans was the 400-meter relay who broke a school record with a time of 41.20 (surpassing 2016 foursome of Jametrius Bentley, Jaevon Hardy, Michael Mikita , and Jake Dindak (41.53)). The new record holders are senior
Amon Sams (Chantilly, VA / John Champe), junior
Ryan Beard (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional), senior
Jacob Patton (Harrisville, PA / Moniteau), and junior
Shamar Love (Bridgeton, NJ / Bridgeton). The time of 41.20 ranks 16
th in the nation.
The Titans are scheduled to next compete at the Baldwin Wallace Last Chance Meet on Friday, May 13.
