Indoor Track & Field: Titans Compete at Baldwin Wallace

RESULTS

BEREA, Ohio – Members of the Westminster indoor track & field teams competed in the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet on Friday.

"We went into the meet needing to get some times (for heat assignment in the PAC meet) for some and get back into racing/competition shape for others," said head coach Tim McNeil. "We were a bit light in our numbers today but the people we had did the job."

Senior Amon Sams (Chantilly, VA / John Champe) won the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.60.

Sophomore Jessica Fatigati (McDonald, PA / West Allegheny) highlighted the day for the women with a time of 7.35 in the 55-meter dash (second in preliminaries).

Also for the men, senior Jacob Patton (Harrisville, PA / Moniteau) placed third in the 55-meter dash (8.14) and sixth in the 400 (personal-best 53.35). Junior Hunter Linhart (Pittsburgh, PA / Plum) finished fifth in the shot put (42'4.00"/ 12.94m.).

The Titans are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 19 at the Ken State Tune-Up.
