BETHANY, W.Va. - The Westminster men's lacrosse team won, 20-9, on the road against Bethany in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) bout Saturday afternoon.
"Our biggest keys to success was our depth and our stamina," said head coach Travis Brown. "Everyone got to enter the game and compete at a high level, overall, a great program win. We're excited for next Wednesday.
Westminster (9-3, 4-1 PAC)) started with all the momentum as it scored seven of the first ten goals. The Titans were able to coast to a win as their offense did not skip a beat with the scoring outbursts.
Westminster was led by junior Ryan Greer (Cranberry Twp, PA / Seneca Valley), who scored a game-best seven goals, followed by senior Joe Rosa (Newton, NJ / Kittatinny Regional) with four goals.
Between the posts, Titan sophomore Zachery Tomlinson (Lancaster, PA / Manheim Township) earned his first-career win with career-best six saves.
The Titans return to action Wednesday, April 27 at Franciscan for a PAC matchup. Start time is 4 p.m.
