Madison Brown (Lisbon, OH / East Liverpool) was named the PAC Pitcher of the Week, while junior
Alexis Yates (Oakdale, PA / South Fayette) was named the PAC Hitter of the Week.

Brown went 2-0 (2 starts) with a 0.00 earned-run average, two complete games and a shutout last week for Westminster. In 16.0 combined innings she allowed four runs (0 earned) with 14 strikeouts and no walks. Brown limited opposing hitters to a .206 average. She tossed a two-hit shutout in Westminster's 6-0 game one victory against Saint Vincent Tuesday, striking out seven. In Thursday's 9-4 game one win at Bethany, she struck out seven in the complete-game victory. Brown is 10-1 this spring with a 0.88 ERA. She ranks third in the league with 71 strikeouts.

Yates hit .400 (6-15) with three doubles, eight RBIs and three runs scored during Westminster's 4-0 week. She went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-0 game two victory over Saint Vincent. In Thursday's game one win at Bethany, Yates went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored. It was the first four-hit game of her career. She has seven multi-hit games this season. Through 23 games (23 starts) Yates is hitting .320 with six doubles, a triple, 13 RBIs, 20 runs scored and four stolen bases.

The Titans return to action Wednesday, April 20 as they host Grove City in a PAC doubleheader. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
