NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected junior Erin Ward (Euclid, OH / Lake Catholic), a member of the track & field team, as its Titan Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week of January 13.

Ward set a new school-record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:18.20 to finish 10th in the field of 76 runners at the Youngstown State College Invitational on Friday. Ward's time broke her own school-record she set last season (2:20.32).

The Titans are back in action when they compete in the two-day Spire Great Lakes Invitational in Geneva, Ohio, starting on Friday, Jan. 24.
