GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected senior women's soccer forward Kayla Trozzi (Monroeville, PA/Gateway) as its Titan Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week of August 26.
 
Trozzi, who was also named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, totaled five points on two goals and an assist during the Titans' 1-1 week. She scored 44 seconds into overtime Friday evening to give Westminster a 3-2 victory over visiting Wisconsin-Platteville. Trozzi also netted the first goal of the match. In Sunday's 2-1 setback at John Carroll, she partnered with Gabrielle Diamond (Moon Township, PA / Moon) on a combo assist that led to Julia Redilla's (Harmony, PA / Seneca Valley) match-tying goal in the 56th minute.
 
The Titans return to the pitch on Friday, September 6, when they travel to Buffalo, NY to take on Baldwin-Wallace in the first day of the Buffalo State Bengals Classic. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
