NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's tennis team won, 5-4, in a come-from-behind effort over Pittsburgh at Greensburg on Saturday.
The Titans trailed the Bobcats 4-3 with only two matches remaining, when freshmen Jimmy Oberlin and George Oliver won both of the final singles matches to seal the victory for Westminster. The Titans improved to 2-0 on the season with the victory. The Bobcats fell to 1-2.
Junior
Collin Kelly (McDonald, PA / Canon MacMillan) picked up the other singles victory for the Titans. Westminster also won two out of the three doubles matches.
The Titans next match takes place in the traditional spring season, when they do battle with Geneva on March 19, 2020.
