Westminster falls to Grove City

Box Score NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College men's tennis program suffered a 7-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to visiting Grove City College Thursday afternoon.

Grove City improved to 10-4 overall and 7-1 in league matches. Westminster fell to 5-7 overall and 3-5 in the PAC.

Grove City collected the doubles point by winning 6-2 at No. 1 and 6-1 at Nos. 2 and 3. Senior Dylan Weiss (South Park, Pa., South Park) dropped a 6-1, 6-3 match at No. 2 singles to Allen Morris. Sophomore Hayden Kenny (Pittsburgh, Pa., Keystone Oaks) lost 6-3, 6-2 to Garrett Ranney at No. 5.

Up Next:
Westminster secured the No. 6 seed in next week's PAC Championship Tournament and will travel to No. 3 Franciscan University Tuesday. The match will get underway at 5:30 p.m. from the Belleview Tennis Courts. The Barons edged the Titans 4-3 on April 2 in Steubenville, Ohio.
