Four earn Academic All-District® honors

GREENWOOD, Ind.--The Westminster College men's tennis program had four players recently named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Rising seniors Ryan Crissman (Allison Park, Pa., Shaler) and Colin Fabich (Erie, Pa., Harbor Creek), along with rising juniors Hayden Kenny (Pittsburgh, Pa., Keystone Oaks) and Hayne Webster (Wellsboro, Pa., Wellsboro), were all recognized with Academic All-District® honors for the first time in their careers. 

Crissman, an accounting and finance double major, carries a 3.83 cumulative grade-point average (GPA). He is a five-time Dean's List honoree and has been named to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll twice. Crissman finished the season with a singles record of 4-9 overall and 3-5 in the PAC at No. 1 and a doubles record of 3-10 overall and 3-5 in the PAC at No. 1 (0-4) and No. 2 (3-6). He was named Honorable Mention All-PAC at No. 1 singles, his first All-PAC award. 

Fabich, a finance major, carries a 3.53 cumulative GPA. He has been named to the College's Dean's List twice and the PAC Academic Honor Roll once. Fabich finished the season with a 2-2 overall and 1-0 PAC record at No. 4 (1-2) and No. 6 (1-0) singles and a doubles record of 5-5 overall and 3-2 in the PAC at No. 2 (1-3) and No. 3 (4-2).

Kenny, a mathematics major, carries a 3.55 cumulative GPA. He has been named to the College's Dean's List in the fall semester. Kenny finished the season with a singles record of 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the PAC at No. 5 and a No. 3 doubles record of 8-5 overall and 5-3 in the PAC. He was named to the league's all-tournament team in April. 

Webster, a history major, carries a 3.97 cumulative GPA. He is a three-time Dean's List honoree and was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll last Spring. Webster finished the season with a singles record of 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the PAC at No. 6. and he has a No. 3 doubles record of 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the PAC. 

Westminster concluded its season in the PAC Championship Tournament quarterfinal round and finished the year with a 5-8 overall record and a conference record of 3-5.
