BEREA, Ohio – Members of the Westminster College men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet at Baldwin Wallace University and the Marty Goldberg Gator Invitational at Allegheny College.
The Titans saw several improvements in Friday's competitions, starting with senior
Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, MD / North Point) who won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.67, a new season-best and a new top mark on the PAC performance list. Freshman
Amon Sams (Chantilly, VA / John Champe) also posted a new personal-record with a time of 10.98 in the event, good for third on the PAC performance list. Sophomore
Dalton Anderson (Butler, PA / Moniteau) topped his personal-best mark in the javelin throw with a first-place toss of 194'1" (59.17 meters) to set a new number to beat among PAC counterparts.
For the Titan women, junior
Katie Schrantz (New Castle, PA / Neshannock) set a new personal-best time in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18.46.68, good for fourth on the PAC performance list.
