FINAL RESULTS
GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Westminster College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams both finished third at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday.
The Titan women finished with 118.50 points, while the Titan men finished with 108 points.
Three Westminster first-place finishes highlighted day two of the Championships. The Titan women's 4x100 relay team, consisting of sophomore
Natalie Schwarz (Hudson, OH / Hudson), senior
Nicole Cress (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch), sophomore
Erin Ward (Euclid, OH / Lake Catholic), and junior
Maura Belding (Columbiana, OH / Crestview), won with a time of 50.95. The win marked Westminster's first 4x100 PAC title since 2012. For the Titan men, senior
Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, MD / North Point) and sophomore
Dalton Anderson (Butler, PA / Moniteau) both claimed PAC titles on Saturday. Hardy won the 100, for the third time of his career, with a time of 10.78. Anderson won the javelin, the first Titan to do so since 2015, with a first-place toss of 183'0" (55.79m). Hardy also placed third in the 200 (23.12).
Hardy was also the anchor of the third-place 4x100 relay team (42.81). Junior
Bryce Hill (Boynton Beach, FL / Boca Raton Community), freshman
Amon Sams (Chantilly, VA / John Champe), and freshman
Vincent Giles (Lexington Park, MD / Great Mills) completed the relay. Sams, junior
Cole Keister (Edinburg, PA / Union Area), senior
African Grant II (Warren, OH / Warren JFK), and freshman
Jacob Musselman (Denver, PA / Cocalico) made up the second-place 4x400 relay team that clocked in at 3:29.56.Sophomore
Clay O'Dell (Vienna, OH / Kennedy Catholic) finished second in the high jump with a leap of 6' 1" (1.85m). Keister (400 hurdles/58.15), Sams (100/11.21), and Mussleman (400/50.48) all earned an individual third-place finish. Senior
Jake Kaylor (Export, PA / Greensburg Salem) placed third in the 110 hurdles (15.83).
Cress also placed third in the 100 (13.14) and 200 (27.45), and was the third leg of the second-place 4x400 relay (4:16.53). Completing the foursome were first-year
Haley Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic), Belding, and Ward. Moore also placed third in the 800 (2:26.24). Sophomore
Megan Parker (Mercer, PA / Mercer Area) earned a second-place finish in the discus with a toss of 122' 3" (37.27m), while junior
Katie Schrantz (New Castle, PA / Neshannock) finished third in the 5,000-meter run (18:48.87).
Select Westminster members will compete at North Central, starting on Thursday, May 9.
