GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed in the Grove City College Mini Meet on Wednesday.

For the Titan women, first-year
Haley Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) took first place in the 800, setting a new personal record with a time of 2:25.82. Senior
Nicole Cress (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) also picked up a first-place finish for the Titans, winning the 200 with a time of 26.73. The Titans also picked up two more victories in the relays, as Cress, along with junior
Maura Belding (Columbiana, OH / Crestview) and sophomores
Natalie Schwarz (Hudson, OH / Hudson) and
Erin Ward (Euclid, OH / Lake Catholic), won the women's 4x100 relay with a time of 51.12. The Titan women also competed in the 4x400 relay. Cress, Belding, Ward, and Moore teamed together to win the event with a time 4:30.16. The Titans' picked up another victory in the women's shot put when sophomore
Megan Parker (Mercer, PA / Mercer Area) registered a throw of 10.85 meters. Titan junior
Jay'Kayla Samuels (Farrel, PA / Farrel) also won the 100 hurdles event with a time of 17.39, just shy of her personal record of 17.29.

For the Titan men, freshman
Amon Sams (Chantily, VA / John Champe) won both the 100 and 200 events with times of 11.35, and 23.07, respectively. The Titans also picked up a pair of victories in both the 4x100 and the 4x400 relay events. Sams, freshman
Vincent Giles (Lexington Park, MD / Great Mills), junior
Bryce Hill (Boynton Beach, FL / Boca Raton Community), and senior
Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, MD / North Point) teamed up in the 4x100 relay, winning with a time of 43.51. Sophomore
Dalton Anderson (Butler, PA / Moniteau), junior
Cole Keister (Edinburg, PA / Union Area), senior
African Grant II (Warren, OH / Warren JFK), and freshman
Jacob Musselman (Denver, PA / Cocalico) combined to win the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:38.29. Anderson, the reigning PAC Field Athlete of The Week, also won the javelin with a throw registering 56.11 meters.

The Titans will be back in action tomorrow, when they travel to Slippery Rock University for the Slippery Rock Open.
